The general event guidelines below are applicable to all national competitive events.

Each rubric serves as a basic guideline to provide feedback on student achievement about a specific learning objective.
In addition to identifying sought-after behaviors, a rubric provides qualitative guidance about what level of performance meets, exceeds or falls below standard.
Develop a rating or scoring system, such as numerical scores or categories such as "Excellent," "Good" or "Needs Improvement." In business, quality assessments may evaluate volume, selling prices, various operating expenses, and plant and equipment facilities.
In comparing actual performance, optimal quality standards are generally derived from the company's historical performance data or benchmark industry data. FBLA‑PBL meets the criteria specified in the Americans with Disabilities Act for all participants who submit a special needs form.No unauthorized audio or video recording devices will be allowed in any competitive event.Two (2) parts: a prejudged report and a presentation.Competitors must complete both parts for award eligibility.
